They say that pregnant women experience memory loss. "They" are right. It seems though that this works two ways. When you are pregnant you forget about things in the moment. Say, you forget to stop at the cleaners, or you forget to buy milk.
And then there is the other type of memory loss related to pregnancy. After you have the baby you forget most of what it was like to be pregnant. For example, you forget how easily you get winded while pregnant. Just walking up the stairs in our home has me wheezing and heck, I'm only three weeks six days pregnant. (Like how I'm keeping track?)
You also forget how when you were pregnant everything you ate turned into a gas bubble in your stomach and you (at least me) pass gass, well, all day long. I am pretty disgusted by it myself but since there isn't anything I can do but blog about it I guess I'll have to live with it.
As I'm remembering all the fun little details I also recall that hemmorhoids were a fun fact of life during my first trimester last time, and acne as well. Can't wait!
I cannot however remember when the morning sickness really started so I'll have to look back through my blog. Thank goodness for my trusty blog to keep my memories alive.
I also looked back through my belly pictures and noticed that the one taken at 11 weeks appears to resemble what I am looking like right now. A friend of mine said with her second pregnancy she pretty much started showing as soon as she peed on the stick. And with her third she didn't bother to pee as she was showing probably the day after implantation. My sister who was pregnant with her third at the same time as me with Hayley was telling me she could feel the baby moving at thirteen weeks. THIRTEEN WEEKS. Wow.
So I guess I'm just waiting to see if all the things everyone talks about with number two are really true. I will tell you for sure- I am going to show a little faster with this one. We'll see what else comes of it.
