Mommy Wagon

I did it.

I gave up my DINK (Dual Income No Kids) car for a new Mommy Wagon.

Let' face it, the Audi was awesome. And some will question why I gave up a beautiful (paid off) Audi for a Mazda CX-7. I'm sure there will be days I question it as well, like when it rains and I no longer have my all wheel drive to ensure my safety on the slippery desert roads. Or every month when I write out my car payment.

But in the grand scheme of things I wanted a car that would accommodate both my kids and my groceries even if I did have a stroller in the trunk. I also figured that there was no need to drive a higher end car with small children since I do allow Hayley to eat in the car and have Cheerios permanently ground into the seats and carpet. No doubt the next kid will also eat in the car. I figured I wasn't going to buy another Audi until my children could appreciate a nicer car. And let me be honest, the economy is what it is. I just spent 30k on a functional car with almost as amenities as what a 54k Audi Q7 would offer.

Don't get me wrong. The Audi is still my favorite. One day I will probably go back. But for now, well, Mommy Wagon it is. Copper Red. Grrrr.....
