Happy Thanksgiving!! Let the winefest turkey preparation begin!
I realized last night around 2am that it has been several days since I last posted and gosh, there's so much to post about! Sunday we went to my mom and dad's house for our annual tradition of making ravioli before the holidays. My dad makes the best sauce in the world and it just isn't a holiday without sauce and ravioli.
Hayley had tons of fun making ravioli with Papa-now he needs to show her the secret to the sauce!
Even Sam started the annual tradition this year! I drew the line at her touching anything just yet... She looks a bit cranky here but I think it's because Nana was trying to help her get out that bubble in her tummy. Otherwise she had a great time too!
The good thing about Nana & Papa's house is that they didn't mind that Hayley made a mess out of the flour! Papa is showing Hayley how to make the perfect ravioli.
So we had a great time making the ravioli and can't wait to eat them today! I'm sitting around blogging like as if I don't have a 20 pound turkey to stuff and get in the oven... Oh well, we will just have to munch on snacks and drink some wine to hold us off while we wait.
May you all enjoy this day with your families, or with your friends if your families are not close. (my dearest sisters in Ohio and Texas) We will all raise a glass to you today!
PS- I sound like a wino (tee hee hee on the pun) but I'm not. Since I am still breastfeeding and I don't like the thought of pumping and dumping I will doubtless be a very responsible drinker today. Plus let's face it, you can't get up in the middle of the night if you are passed out. But that doesn't mean the rest of my guests can't enjoy the traditional holiday in our home!

I give thanks for all of my friends today. I hope you aheva wonderful time Jenn, enjoy every minute of it.
