I can't help it. Something about this photo draws me in. I feel whimsical. Like I could get on this bike and just ride with my hair in the breeze and not a care in the world. At the end of my ride I would find myself in the Tuscan countryside with a romance novel and a picnic blanket. Red is my favorite color- maybe that is why I love this photo- I don't know. What I do know is that I was compelled to post it.
I loved the moment that I took this photo- we were at my husband's parents cabin in Northern Saskatchewan. Things are different there- a different pace, a different world. I loved it- I loved every minute. I walked the village with my camera and my wide angle lens- I took photos of the scenery, I took photos of my family, I took photos of moments.
One photo I took was of my nephews playing on a giant rock with their friends. I was so far away I captured moments without influencing them- until one of the friends spotted me and told my nephews that someone was photographing them. My nephew said in disgust "That's my aunt". And then I snapped a few more and was on my way.
I love how this photo makes me feel. I love how taking pictures makes me feel- even if I am not very good at it *yet*. I love looking at other photos. I love seeing things through the eyes of another- and the camera is the greatest invention ever. In the next few days I will try to post a few more of my favorites.

Jenn - I love this photo too. Please do post more.

I think the combo of the flowers and the sitting bike make it really great. I too want to jump on and just ride! Thanks for sharing.
